About us
At the beginning of the twentieth century my family came to live in this splendid valley in Tuscany. Both of my parents, my daughters Ester and Margherita and I were born here.
In the farmhouse where my mother was born -la Moiana- there can now be found three independent apartments (2 of which have 2 beds and the other one 4). Now my mother Fosca, my husband Fabio, our daughters and I, Marina, we live in the farmhouse where my father was born -il Cerretello-. Here there can also be found another independent apartment provided with 2 beds and a dining room, where we offer to our guests our products. Our agricultural holding, completely biological, has 50 hectares of terrain where we produce D.O.C. Orcia BIO wine, BIO extra virgin olive oil, legumes, cereals and cheese.
Our agricultural holding is placed in the middle of a territory with unique historic-landscape characteristics. In a convenient position for the most important medieval villages of the region, like Pienza, San Quirico d’Orcia, Bagno Vignoni, Montalcino and Castiglione d’Orcia. The apartments are inside our agricultural holding, surrounded by vineyards, olive trees and 14 hectares of wood and arable land. It is possible to go hiking and taste the dishes of the local food and wine traidition and the beauties our land offers us.
how to get here
From San Quirico d'Orcia, take the road that leads to "Ripa d'Orcia".
Outside Of the village, there is a dirt road. Carry on for 4 kms, until the junction close to Cooperativa "Poggio al Vento".
At this fork, take the right and go straight ahead for 2 kms. Our farmhouse is on the left. There is a clearly visible sign showing you where we are.
